Fellow Young Minds, it is of no doubt that social vices have completely replaced core moral values in present times. This ravaging phenomenon is the cause of some of the major problems Nigeria is facing as a Nation. A society where the youths no longer think of how tomorrow would be better than today or how to be instrumental to the development of the country.
Nigeria is a country where a FIRST CLASS GRADUATES IS GIFTED WITH A HAND SHAKE WHEREAS A GROUP ARE WASTING MONEY ON THE SO CALLED "BIG BROTHERS NIGERIA" AN ASSEMBLY OF FAKE PEOPLE LIVING A FAKE LIFE IN AN EXPENSIVE AND LUXURIOUS DUPLEX.. THE SO CALLED BBNAIJA HAVE BECOME A SHOW WHERE IMMORALITY IS PROMOTED AND REWARDED WITH MILLIONS OF NAIRA, CARS AND CONTRACTS.. Just when we thought we have heard the last of Miss Anambra beauty pageant mess, after the harried one concerning Miss Anambra 2015 winner, Chidinma Okeke and the Anambra Broadcasting Services, the Yuletide has served us another juicy one from Nnewi, from same Anambra State. A contestant excitedly told the gathering that the current president of the Federal Republic is DR. MUHAMMADU BUHARI. Most said, ‘NO IDEA.’ At the end of the day, no winner was declared as the organisers were thoroughly embarrassed. The CAR PRIZE meant for the winner had to be taken away. What a shame.. whereas many GRADUATE responsible and intelligent with great vision are struggling. In the world today, shame and shamelessness are rewarded with encomiums and emphasized recognition,
nudity is now directly proportional to your fame and acceptance.
The good will be enjoyed and celebrated while the bad would be suffered for and be condemned. An activist used to say: our time shall past, but the history of our time will never past”. I put it to you today, be part of the history of the struggle for a better Nigeria. Do anything in your capability to make your immediate society proud of you and appreciate you, do the right thing at the right time and never be an idle person. Discover yourself, your innermost
strength and build it.
